(A) Open Google form from email
You will receive an email sent from medu@hku.hk regarding the “HKU MEd (ELE / CLIL) application”. You have to click on the Google Form at https://elearning.edu.hku.hk/med_admission to submit your video essay. Please note that you are required to login your Google account to proceed with the submission. If you don’t have a Google account, you can click on “Create account” to create a new one. If you have any problem about the video submission, please email elearning.edu@hku.hk.
(B) Fill in Google form
There are 6 mandatory fields on the form. You have to enter your (1) email address, (2) first name, (3) last name and the (4) 10-digit HKU application number for the MEd ELE / CLIL stream applied for. After that, please select your MEd program among the streams (full-time/part-time ELE/CLIL). Finally, you have to upload a video essay of NOT MORE than FOUR minutes to address the question prompts already sent to you. Only you should be present in the video. You must ensure your video is of a high audible and visual quality and that you speak in English and can be fully understood at all times. You must be visible as the person speaking all throughout the video – no proxy is allowed. Video submissions of more than FOUR minutes will not be considered and your application will not progress further if yours is longer than the required length.
(C) Email receipt
A message will appear on screen after you have submitted your video file. More importantly, a Google form receipt with all your submission details will be sent to your email address entered. Please check the Spam and Junk email folders as this email may be sent to these folders in some cases. Your submission will be considered as successful if you have received this email.
